Established in 2020, we provide compassionate residential care in Trealaw, Tonypandy—supporting older adults with dignity, comfort, and reassurance for families.
Our story
A warm, supportive home for later life
Fairfield House Care Home is a 19-bed residential & EMI care home located in the Rhondda Fawr valley, deep in the heart of the Welsh Valleys, created to feel like home—safe, calm, and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
All our bedrooms are spacious with en-suite WC & shower wet room.
Our Residents enjoy making the use of our two lounges, dining room and outdoor areas.
Families come to us at important moments: when day-to-day tasks are becoming harder, when memory changes are affecting confidence, or when a carer needs a short break. We listen carefully, learn what matters most, and build a personalised plan that supports independence while providing the right level of help.

Our Staff
Our staff team brings experience, calm reassurance, and genuine warmth. From day-to-day care to meals and activities, we work together to create a safe, friendly environment for residents and visiting families.
Kelly Lawes, the Home’s Registered Manager, heads up the team to ensure the Home delivers expert, hands-on care to our Residents using a holistic approach. She successfully moved from the local hospitality sector to care, joining the Home’s staff team in February 2021.
